As promised here are some photos of the
old squash courts complex in Sutton that we are converting
into the worlds most exciting bouldering and also caving
centre. As you can see from these photos you need a turbo
charged imagination to buy into the above claim, but stay
with us, we will do it.
The stripping out of the old will take a number of weeks,
as we also have to remove the dividing walls between the
courts and replace with steel supports to hold up the roof
and maintain the buildings overall stability. Once that
is complete we will start the rewiring and installation
of a brand new changing block and reception etc. Only then
will the wall start arriving.
The wall is being built and installed by EP as was Craggy
in Guildford, however the design has been worked on by
EP and us at Craggy with Mark Croxall. Our combined experience
has produced a wall that should be the benchmark of future
bouldering ventures. We are still working out some minor
details and when complete we shall publish the plans on
the web site.

Oh
what might have been! Still they might win it next

Say
cheese, Cheese, CHEESE!

The
squash
floors are sacrificed for bouldering. But they ARE being
recycled and will probably be reborn as an Ikea Toufag
or something silly.
