2nd February 2005
Yes,
round 2 went off as planned with 21 problems set on the
steeper side of
the bouldering wall. Everyone loved the routes set in round
1, so Craggy
invited Ben West back to set round 2 and boy did he go to
town. Digging out
dusty volumes from the storage area behind the wall, Ben
set a series of
brutal jamming cracks and moulded features, as well an array
of superb and
imaginative routes using bolt ons.
With
the field growing the mat got a bit cosy with so many
people looking to
get on the wall. So we will be looking at the various
options open to us, to
make sure we can accommodate everyone who wishes to enter.
So thanks for the various suggestions and watch this
space.
We'd
like to thank everyone who participated last night, you
made the
evening really good fun and all the staff loved the atmosphere
you
generated. The problems will remain on the wall and
the tags will stay in
place. So if you couldn't make it, but would like to
see how you would have
scored, you can collect a score card from the desk
by the stairs and mark
your own card.
These
are the top three cards from each category...
