Meet the Youth Climbing Team

youth climbing team craggy

Miles and Matilda with their trophies, prizes and the winners trophy for London & South East at the YCS Final in 2013.

The Craggy Island Youth Climbing Team has been created in recognition of the achievements and talent demonstrated by the selected young climbers.  All those chosen for the team have worked their way through our Kids Clubs, attended Coaching and Development days, pitted their skills against each other at our Team Selection Day and shown not only a real talent for the sport but also a desire to try hard and have a lot of fun along the way.

With our collective experience of competition climbing ranging from Junior, Regional, National and World Champions we really feel we have something special to offer the climbing team and very much look forward to working with them!

The Craggy Island Youth Climbing Team is made up of 9 talented young climbers aged from 8 to 18 years.  The team has been selected based on previous performances at competitions, a desire to climb harder and potential ability.
