Role: As one of the Duty Managers you are responsible for the safe and smooth operating of the centre on a day-to-day basis. You will report directly to the Centre Manager. Duty Managers are involved with all aspects of running our busy and successful indoor climbing centre. The job includes supporting Reception with handling customers coming into the centre, Instructing clients on a range of Adult and Junior courses and sessions and carrying out safety and equipment checks under the guidance of the Centre Manager.
Hours: Contracted hours are 37.5 hours per week. This includes some daytime, some evening and working 1 weekend in every 4. You will work on a continuous rolling rota so hours are regular and you will always know in advance when you will be working.
Requirements: Applicants must be aged 18 years or over at the time of your application. You should be an experienced indoor climber. Some Instructing experience is desirable but not essential; paid training in all aspects of the job will be provided to the successful applicant.
Holiday: You will be entitled to paid holiday at the statutory entitlement.
Pay: Hourly rate is £8.65 per hour.
Overtime: There is the opportunity to work additional hours at your normal hourly rate as the need arises.
